This coming Saturday, Belleville is going to get an hour in the national spotlight.
TSN will be doing their Sportscentre broadcast from West Zwick’s Park from 6:00 p.m.. to 7:00 pm.
Anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Jennifer Hedger will show the sports news of the day, from the waterfront.
The show is coming as part of Challenger Baseball’s win of the Kraft Heinz Project Play contest.
$250,000 was awarded for the creation of a fully accessible baseball field, at the Parkdale ball diamonds.
To go along with the event at West Zwick’s is face painting, music, live entertainment, and a viewing party of the Canada- New Zealand Women’s World Cup soccer game.
