Police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another, in connection with a robbery on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory last year, not connected to one on Thursday night.
Members of the OPP, Durham Regional Police and Tyendinaga Mohawk Police were all involved in the investigation following the robbery in October 2018.
Twenty-one-year-old Elijah Sargeant of Ajax and 21-year-old Traishaun Delpeache of no fixed address are each charged with robbery with a weapon, using an imitation firearm to commit an offence and disguise with intent.
Sargeant was arrested and made a court appearance in Belleville but Delpeache is still outstanding and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
