For the last 12 years, a Bay of Quinte High School has won the Ontario “AA” Girls Rugby Championship. The Trenton High School Tigers can make it 13.
The top seeded Tigers will play second ranked Holy Cross of Peterborough in the gold medal game today at noon in Clarington.
Trenton has demolished the competition, outscoring them 141-10 in three games. The Tigers will play for their 8th OFSAA title howwever they’ve been in the final 11 times in the last 12 years.
The 8th ranked Napanee District Golden Hawks will play Owen Sound this morning at 8:30. The winner will advance to the Consolation final.
