A police investigation is underway in east end Belleville after a two year old child was found unresponsive just before 10 a.m. this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Pine Street where paramedics provided emergency care on scene before transporting the child to Belleville General Hospital.
Belleville Police remain on scene and members of the Criminal Investigative Branch as well as the Forensic Identification Unit will conduct a joint investigation with the Children’s Aid Society.
