The month of May was much wetter than is normal in the Quinte region.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, Environment Canada reports that 131 millimetres of rain fell last month, much
higher than the usual amount of 80mm.
Meanwhile, May was a little cooler than normal with the average high temperature last month coming in at 17 degrees celsius.
The normal high for May in the Quinte area is a little over 18 degrees.
