An arbitration award for Belleville Firefighters has resulted in an extra long sunshine list in the Friendly City in 2008. There are 53-employees on the 100-thousand dollar earning list for last year….including 38-members of the Belleville Fire Department. Senior Fire Prevention Officer Dave McMullen tops the list of six figure earners in ’08 with salary and benefits of 143-thousand dollars. There are eight members of the city’s Police Service earning 100-grand with Acting Police Chief Brian Harder on top at 138-thousand dollars. Former Chief Steve Tanner, who resigned in November, earned 136-thousand. CAO Steve Hyndman took home a salary of 135-thousand.
