No foul play is suspected after a medical episode at the Herchimer Street boat launch on Sunday.
Belleville Police say a nearby resident was out moving a log, when he had a cardiac episode.
Nearby witnesses attempted to assist the man, however he was pronounced dead.
Numerous police vehicles were seen in the area while they investigated, however officers suspect nothing suspicious.
The victim is 77-year old Barry Bevvan, a long time supporter of the local sea cadets.
