Dan Joly, a Constable with Belleville Public School has a kind and caring demeanor, makes presentations including cyber bullying, has a willingness to go the extra mile and hosts classes at the Safety Village.
Richard Long, a teacher at Bayside Secondary School is nicknamed the resident math genius and brings along positive glow to what he does. His nomination was student-led.
Jay Noack, a teacher, Trenton High School is working on making a Makers Space in the school for students and won $5,000 for the project in April. He is hoping to win $5,000 with the McDougall Family Fund as well for the project.
