Members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees local 1479, will be holding a rally on Tuesday night in Napanee.
It is taking place at the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board office at 151 Dairy Avenue, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will be at the same time as a Board of Trustee meeting.
Local union president Kevin French tells Quinte News the rally is designed to bring attention to the cuts in education.
CUPE 1479 represents custodians, library workers, Educational Assistants, Early Childhood Educators, clerical members, IT, and more.
