Hastings County has settled a two year contract with its full-and-part-time staff members.
It covers 160 inside and outside staff who are members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, Local 496.
Terms of the contract were announced at city council this week.
The contract gives the employees 1.6% pay increase, effective January of this year, and runs until the end of December of 2020.
Local paramedics also have a new contract, giving them wage increases in each year of the two-year agreement.
It is retroactive to January 1, 2019 and covers 84 full-time and 59 part-time employees of the Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services.
