The Municipality of Prince Edward County is now on the hunt for a second member of its senior staff.
It was announced Wednesday morning, Neil Carbone, the Director of Community Development and Strategic Initiatives is leaving his position to become the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Township of South Frontenac effective July 12.
Acting CAO Robert McAuley says the municipality wishes Neil the best in his new role and acknowledges the outstanding leadership Neil brought to the job.
Neil joined the County in November 2012 to lead the newly formed Community Development Department.
Prior to coming to the County, he held senior management roles with the Municipality of Sioux Lookout.
A broad search for a new director of community development and strategic initiatives will be undertaken by The County.
