Two people have been arrested after OPP executed a series of search warrants in Alnwick-Haldimand township on Wednesdsay (yesterday).
The Peterborough/Northumberland OPP Street Crime Unit started a drug trafficking investigation back in February and led early morning raids in four rural areas of Alnwick-Haldimand, along with one vehicle.
Officers seized the following:

81 grams of Cocaine

5 grams of Methamphetamine

130 Hydromorphone Tablets

85 OxyContin (80 mgs)

7.5 pounds of processed vacuum sealed marihuana

Thirty-two-year-old Tyler Hockney and 31-year-old Jamie Ward are charged with various drug possession and trafficking charges including:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin) – (three counts)
