Suspended Driver and Breach of Recognizance
On May 12, 2019 at 12:20 a.m., Police observed an erratic driver travelling north on North Front Street. Police successfully initiated a traffic stop where an investigation ensued. The driver of the motor vehicle was found to be breaching two separate recognizances and was also a suspended diver. Jamie Ashley, the 41-year-old Belleville male driver, was charged criminally with four counts of Breach of Recognizance, Driving While Under Suspension and Stunt Driving. He received a court date in June to face the charges.
Arrested on Warrants
On May 11, 2019, police arrested a 28-year-old Belleville woman, Alicia Miller, on outstanding warrants for Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police. She was transported to the Belleville Police Service and is being held for bail.
