There’s finally a bit of good news for shoreline residents within the Quinte Conservation Watershed.
Quinte Conservation says local bodies of water including the Moira, Salmon and Napanee Rivers have continued to decline since peaking at the end of April and there is no longer a risk of flooding at the moment.
Because of that QC has decided to lift its flood watch for the watershed.
The environmental agency says it will continue to monitor area water levels and residents are encouraged to report any flooding concerns to them.
