Residents of a three-storey apartment building in Napanee were evacuated for a short time early this morning (Saturday) as the top two storeys filled with smoke.
Napanee fire crews responded around 1:30 and discovered that a some paper had been set on fire in the foyer of the building.
The flames were out when they arrived.
The building was ventilated and the residents were allowed back in shortly after 2 o’clock. OPP are investigating.
