A Quinte area man is alleged to have been involved in a vandalism spree at Queen’s Park in Toronto in the dead of night last Wednesday.
According to a report in the Toronto Sun, Queen’s Park security officers chased down a suspect after profane graffiti aimed at Premier Doug Ford and his government was spray painted on the legislative building and on a statue of Sir John A. Macdonald.
The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Woodrow Fraser-Boychuk of Picton. He was charged with one count of mischief over $5,000.
According to the report, the spray painted messages were “f–k Ford” and “MURDERER”.
There have been several anti-government protests held at Queen’s Park in the past few days.
