The weather looks good for tomorrow night’s 52nd annual season opener of stock car racing at Brighton Speedway.
Three of the four 2018 division winners will be back to defend their titles.

Defending champ Wade Purchase of Demorestville is back in a crowded field of more than 30 cars in the Thunder Stocks group which includes Doug Anderson and Justin Ramsay.
There will be a new champion in the Comp 4 division as Tyler French makes the jump to the Thunder Stock ranks.
The season opener will also support the Brighton Fare Share food bank. Admission for Saturday’s program is $4 for adults, youth and seniors with a non-perishable food donation.
