Quick response limited damage to a small area of a house on Twelve O’Clock Point Road in Carrying Place late last night (Sunday).
Firefighters from the South Murray Hall responded at 11:20 to reports of a fire in a dryer.
They managed to douse the flames quickly and no one was injured.
Reports indicate the fire’s cause was a mouse nest.
