On Monday April 25, 2019 at approximately 2:59 p.m., the Cobourg Police responded to a report of a male having pulled a knife on two people and threatening to stab them, before fleeing the scene on foot. Shortly after being dispatched, police located the suspect and placed him under arrest.
Jacob Bissonnette, 18-years-old, of Cobourg was held for a bail hearing and charged with the following offences:
1) Theft under $5000
2) Assault with a weapon
3) Utter threats to person
4) Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
5) Fail to comply with probation
