On April 19, 2019 at 1:30 a.m., an officer on Sidney St. observed a vehicle travelling with a headlight out. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified himself as a G1 driver. The officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A small amount was located in the vehicle. The passenger was charged under the Cannabis Act for person under 19 possess marijuana and issued a ticket for $125.
Arrest on Warrant
On April 19, 2019 an officer on observed a vehicle driving on Moira St. W. The officer observed a male in the passenger seat who the officer believed had a warrant for his arrest. The vehicle was stopped and the male identified himself as Howard Druin from Belleville. It was confirmed that the male was wanted for failing to comply with a probation order. He was arrested and later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date on Thursday May 2 .
