A Campbellford District High School music teacher has earned some national recognition.
Dave Noble was named this year’s winner of the Tommy Banks Outstanding Jazz Director award from MusicFest Canada.
He has been honoured for helping CDHS jazz bands receive the national “gold standard” for nearly two decades and will receive the award at the MusicFest Canada Nationals in Ottawa on May 17.
The award is named after musician, TV personality and politician, Tommy Banks.
