The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario was in Belleville Friday afternoon.
Elizabeth Dowdeswell visited with Mayor Mitch Panciuk, and was also part of a round table with community stakeholders at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Dowdeswell says the affordable housing issue was front and centre. She says this has been a focus across the province.
She says it is much more than just housing.
