A Smith Falls man has been charged with numerous offences including driving while under suspension, speeding, and driving a vehicle with an open container of alcohol last night at 8:42 p.m., according to Lennox and Addington OPP.
Twenty-six-year-old Travis Lucier was stopped by police on the 401 heading east near Napanee. Lucier then fled the scene on foot and was later found by the K9 and emergency response teams.
Police say, Lucier was issued a 3-day licence suspension for an alcohol alert and his vehicle will be impounded for 45 days.
Lucier is scheduled to appear in court on April 30, 2019.
