There is some good news for a Belleville housing project that includes affordable housing.
Director Erin Rivers told the Hastings County Community and Human Services on Wednesday that the county had received an additional $248,330 from the provincial government toward the development by Springale Development on Great St. James Place in Belleville.
Rivers says this means an increased number of affordable housing units.
The county also received more funding for the Reaching Home program which already has $1.1 million.
The extra $306,900 will be used to develop a coordinated access system which is required under the program.
