Students across the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Pink tomorrow.
The event demonstrates a shared belief in celebrating diversity and acceptance, with students wearing pink shirts, to support ongoing efforts to increase awareness of bullying prevention initiatives.
International Day of Pink fits in with other school board inclusion events including the Pink Shirt Day in February and November’s Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week.
More than 1,700 commemorative t-shirts have been sold to celebrate the occasion.
You can take part as well by wearing pink tomorrow.
