A significant residential building near downtown Belleville has moved another step toward becoming a reality.
The city’s Planning Advisory Committee has recommended council approve rezoning for land at Dundas West and Coleman Street to allow for a six-storey residential building featuring commercial space on the ground floor.
In future there could be several more structures built on other parts of the property, located behind the courthouse, including two more medium sized apartment buildings, a high rise residential building and two parking garages.
