(Township of Madoc, Ontario) – On March 29, 2019 at 11:47 p.m., Central Hastings OPP detachment responded to a report of a possible impaired driver located in a residential driveway by the home owner.
The driver had been backing into the driveway and collided with a mailbox, and got stuck in the driveway.
The driver was located and was arrested for impaired driving.
It was also revealed that the driver was out on a Recognizance of Bail and was breaching his conditions.
Twenty-five-year-old Joseph Parks of Tweed is charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus, CC
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance CC, 2 counts
Parks will appear for a scheduled bail hearing in Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, on April 1, 2019.
