A Madoc Township man and a woman from Tweed have been sentenced on drug trafficking charges.
Daniel Meadus, 36 at the time of his arrest, and Christine Whiteman, 27 at the time of her arrest, were sentenced Monday in a Belleville courtroom.
They were arrested after OPP officers raided a residence on Union Road in Madoc Township on March 1 of last year.
Police seized marijuana, cannabis resin, opioids, and methamphetamine.
Whiteman was sentenced to one day in jail and a 10 year weapons prohibition.
She had already served four months in jail prior to being sentenced.
Meadus was sentenced to six months in jail, 12 months probation, a 10 year weapons prohibition and a forfeiture order.
Earlier in January all charges against another accused, Kayla Brown, were withdrawn.
