It is two strikes against Campbellford Memorial Hospital in its attempt to get county funding for a new C-T Scanner.
Peterborough County Council rejected Campbellford’s request yesterday for 400-thousand dollars for the equipment.
That came only a few weeks after Northumberland County Council refused to provide 600-thousand dollars for the scanner.
Trent Hills Mayor Hector Macmillan says about half of the three-million dollars for the new equipment and necessary renovations at the hospital has been raised so far, but having some or all of the requested one-million would have really helped.
