The Belleville Senators have signed defenceman Miles Gendron to an American Hockey League contract for the 2019-20 season.
Simultaneously, the ECHL’s Brampton Beast have signed the 22-year-old to an ECHL contract for the remainder of this season.
Gendron is coming off of a four-year career with the University of Connecticut where he served as the Huskies captain this season. He played 126 games scoring 10 goals and 23 assists.

The 6-2 181 pound defenceman was a third round pick by the Ottawa Senators in 2014.
The Belleville Senators continue their playoff push this weekend when they host the Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens) on Friday and Saturday at 7:05 at the CAA Arena.
