Belleville Police Service responded to 52 calls for service from March 11, 2019 at 5 a.m. to March 12, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Domestic
At 5 a.m. on March 11, police attended a west end residence with relation to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival police arrested a male for breaching his probation by being with the female resident. Further investigation led to four more charges of breach of probation, a charge of uttering threats and a charge of cruelty to animals with relation to allegations of the male punching a dog several times during the domestic. No injuries were sustained by the female or the dog and the 32-year-old Stirling male was held for a bail hearing on March 11. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
