There was a small fire in the Gibbard District condo building now under construction in downtown Napanee this morning.
Napanee firefighters responded in numbers around 8:15 after smoke was seen coming from a location on the second floor at 88 Dundas Street East.
According to those on the scene there was a small smoky fire coming from what was described as a “bakers oven”.
The flames were knocked down quickly and damage was very minor.
