Temperatures have risen as is obvious by the pools of runoff snow melt all over the place and the City of Belleville has announced that it’s “warming centre” will not be open for the next few days.
The warming centre, now located at the Belleville Transit Terminal on Pinnacle Street in the downtown, had been open the last 3 nights because of the cold.
Should it become a lot colder again, city officials will make public announcements regarding the centre’s opening for overnight shelter
