Belleville police are looking for information following an armed robbery and assault at a business yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon in the north end of the city.
Police report a male robbed a business owner of some cash and in the process hit the man on the head with an unnamed weapon shortly after 3 o’clock.
The business owner suffered minor injuries.
The suspect took off in a black Ford F-150 pickup truck with a full cap on the back and was described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall with a beard and moustache.
Meanwhile, due to the bad weather, city police dealt with 13 collisions yesterday. None were serious.
