NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
Sometime during the overnight hours of February 26 – 27, 2019, unknown person(s) stole a vehicle from the property of an auto body shop in the town of Campbellford.
The vehicle was last seen by the business owner at 6:30 p.m. on February 26, 2019 parked outside in front of the bay doors to the shop.
On Thursday February 28, 2019 the vehicle was located at a self-storage facility in the village of Hastings.
The vehicle was towed to a location where police will continue the investigation with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Unit.
