Final approvals haven’t been given but Prince Edward County council is close to allowing a residential development to expand in Carrying Place.
At its planning committee meeting last night (Wednesday), council approved a draft plan of a subdivision for phases 2 and 3 of the development.
Phase 1, consisting of 13 houses, has already been built in the area of Taft and Rednersville Roads.
If given final approval, phases 2 and 3 would see a total of 47 residences built on 38 lots, with some of homes being semi-detached.
