Belleville Police have arrested two people following a drug investigation in the city.
Officers with the Intelligence and Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team of the police service executed a search warrant on Tuesday at an east end Belleville home.
Police located a large quantity of purple Heroin/ Fentanyl.
Daniel Galpin, 36 and Tonia Rushlow, 28 were arrested and are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Galpin was held for a bail hearing today (Wednesday) while Rushlow was released on a promise to appear on March 18.
