Freezing rain threatening Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Freezing rain is expected to affect Central and Eastern Ontario beginning Wednesday night as another large low pressure system brewing over the Southern Plains moves towards the Great Lakes.
Snow will arrive Wednesday evening, then change through ice pellets to freezing rain later Wednesday night. Most areas may receive a few centimetres of snow and ice pellets before the transition to freezing rain.
Freezing rain will then come to an end Thursday morning as temperatures edge above the zero degree mark.
Untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery. Travel may be affected.
