Belleville’s Pegasus Cheer Athletics Prodigy team has secured an invitation to the Canadian Cheerleading finals in Niagara Falls in April.
Prodigy is a Mini Level One team with athletes ages 6 to 8. They finished fourth against 17 other teams at the Big East Showdown in Ottawa last weekend to qualify for the Nationlas.
The team includes Kaelynn Jackett, Scarlette Leduchowski, Emma Wright, Peyton Morrison, Ava McAuley, Callie Rowles and Eliza Rogers.
Pegasus Cheer Athletics is Quinte’s only all-star cheerleading gym.
