Lloyst, who was the general manager of the BDIA for 18 months, announced her intentions in a Facebook post early this morning (Friday).
In the post she said she has been kept in the dark about her future with the organization ever since Mayor Panciuk announced the board should be looking for a full-time, qualified Executive Director at the recent annual meeting.
Brown says the current board of directors has been in place for less than a month and they already have four priorities that need to be dealt with immediately.
She says one of those priorities is addressing increasing capacity for the BDIA office and the committee will meet for the first time next week.
Brown did ask for patience for the BDIA as they deal with this incident and continue to work for the best interests of their members.
