A 23-year-old man from Cramahe Township has been charged after an incident in Colborne early this morning.
Northumberland OPP officers were called to a reported domestic dispute at a Colborne home around 3:00 a.m. and charged the man with assault, forcible confinement, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breaching an undertaking.
The suspect, whose name is being withheld to protect the victim, was held in custody for a bail hearing this afternoon in Cobourg.
