Council could buy old school

Quinte West council will be asked to finalize a land purchase at its meeting tonight (Monday).

Council will see a bylaw authorizing the purchase of the former River Valley School.

The old school, located on the Stirling-Frankford Road, had been declared surplus by the
Hastings Prince Edward District School Board.

The entire property is about half an acre in size.

The price hasn’t been disclosed.
