A 64-year-old from Stirling has been hurt in a crash early Friday afternoon.
Central Hastings OPP responded to Highway 62 south of Preston Road in Centre Hastings, where a pickup truck had gone through a fence and collided with a steel hay feeder, in a farm pasture on the east side of the highway.
Investigators say the truck had been heading north when ice flew off the top of a southbound transport truck, hit the windshield and caused the driver to veer off the road.
Anyone who saw the accident is being asked to contact Central Hastings OPP, or Crimestoppers.
Police are reminding all drivers to clear off their vehicles, since flying ice can cause significant structural, or windshield damage and can cause injuries.
