Belleville police are looking for two men who came to the aid of an elderly woman after she was knocked to the ground Friday afternoon in an attempted purse snatching.
The assault occurred on Newberry Street and the men, who had just exited a restaurant, helped the woman get to a nearby pharmacy after which they left the scene in a black pickup truck.

A 31-year-old Toronto man was arrested in connection with the assault.
Meanwhile, city police dealt with six motor vehicle collisions yesterday. There were no injuries.
