Brighton council will decide whether or not to allow off-road vehicles on municipal roadways at its meeting Monday night. Currently they are not permitted in the Municipality of Brighton.
Staff is recommending council approve a temporary by-law to allow ATVs and similar vehicles on roadways from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The by-law would expire on November 30 of this year after which the issue would be looked at again.
Also at its meeting Monday night, council will decide whether to allow retail cannabis stores within its boundaries and be asked to join the City of Quinte West’s Physician Recruitment and Retention Program.
