WRITTEN BY THE OPP
In the afternoon on January 11, 2019 officers of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a break and enter at a cabin located on Monck Road in Faraday Township.
The complainant advised that sometime between January 1, 2019 and the afternoon of January 11, 2019 unknown suspects broke in and stole items listed as:
- Rigid driver and drill
- Poulan chainsaw
- Solar motion light
- Sony DVD Player
- 14″ Samsung LED TV
- Various fishing rods and fishing tackle.
Furthermore, in the early morning on January 14, 2019, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the OPP attended to a business in Maynooth, Municipality of Hastings Highlands, regarding another break and enter complaint.
The owner awoke to an audible alarm, and attended the business to check on it. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) entered the building and stole a case of chocolate bars between the hours of 4:00 and 4:30 a.m.
