In their first meeting of the new year, the Belleville Downtown Improvement Area board has elected their new provisional executive committee.
At their meeting last night (Tuesday) at their Front Street office, Kathryn Brown of Kate’s Kitchen was elected chair while Lorne McDougall of McDougall Insurance was voted vice-chair.

Ramos Abraham (Chilangos Mexican Restaurant) was voted treasurer and Dianne Bartlett (Up Front Gallery) elected secretary.

This board is provisional as they are in a transition phase currently and the roles are to be held until March 31,2019.
The approval of the board committees and the appointment of directors to the BDIA board committees were both deferred to their next meeting to be held on February 12 at 5:30 p.m.
