The Belleville Police Service responded to 45 calls for service between January 11, 2019 at 5 a.m. and January 12, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Threats
On January 11, 2019, at 10:37 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Coleman Street. The investigation revealed that the 39-year-old Belleville man had threatened his estranged wife. He was arrested and charged with uttering death threats and breach of probation. His name will not be released to protect her identity. He will appear in court on February 11, 2019. There were no injuries.
Prohibited driver
On January 11, 2019, at 3:05 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road. The driver was confirmed to be a prohibited driver. His vehicle was impounded for 45 days. John William Anderson, 41 years of age, of London, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so. He will appear in court on February 14, 2019.
