The lockdown at Collins Bay Institution has been lifted.
The medium security unit was placed under lockdown on December 29 to allow Correctional Service Canada staff to conduct an exceptional search.
The search has been completed with a number of unauthorized items found.
The institution has resumed normal operations and visits have also resumed.
