There is good news for residents near Picton who had to boil there water for several days.
The advisory was lifted Saturday afternoon, by officials with Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
The County of Prince Edward has confirmed that water being produced by the Picton Bloomfield Drinking Water Plant, and water presently in the distribution system, meets provincial standards for consumption.
Residents under the Boil Water Advisory, who were northeast of County Road 49 and Spencer Street at Picton, are asked to flush their systems’ running water until it is cold to the touch.
